What does it mean when this guy helps me pick something up?

okay, i was in my cooking class one time with a guy i like, and i dropped some brownies. he IMMEDIATELY dropped to the floor to help me..i think he was talking to me when we were crouched there, but i can’t remeber..lol. if he wasn’t, the air between us felt really..full! what could this mean?
