Is it okay for your child to have a stuffed animal or toy that they cant live without?

Its totally normal. My baby loves soft blankets and stuffed animals. I read a little about it, because I was worried she would be too attached to it and it would cause problems. What the child psychologists say is it is good for a baby to have a lovie. They transfer their feelings of affection and belonging to the lovie. As they mature and become more secure, they will be able to leave it behind.
