Who are the old hollywood BRUNETTE icons?

I absolutely love the old hollywood look, something � la Monroe or Brigitte Bardot, however I can't think of any brunettes other than Audrey Hepburn and Sophia Loren...Are there any other brunettes? I'm a brunette with pale skin and I would love to have some looks to copy or get inspiration from... thanks :-)
